Dobbs Ferry

Dobbs Ferry is located in te Hudson River TownsA villager in Dobbs Ferry once described her town as “more New England than Westchester.” With its sloping geography and intimate community feel, the village does seem better fit for rural Massachusetts than the outskirts of New York City.

Dobbs Ferry takes great pride in its schools, and most notably, their athletic teams. Main and Cedar Streets are home to many of the village's restaurants and shops, as well as the majority of its seven art and pottery galleries.

Dobbs Ferry has:

  • Sweeping Hudson River views
  • Riverfront dining and excellent restaurants in all price ranges
  • Dobbs Ferry Waterfront Park
  • Old Croton Aqueduct State Park Visitors Center and Overseer’s Home
  • Dobbs Ferry Festa
  • Easy access by train from New York City and the Hudson Valley via Metro North’s Hudson Line, with transfers from Amtrak available at Tarrytown and Yonkers stations.
