Step back in time for a charming afternoon of history, tea and Revolutionary spirit at the Thomas Paine Cottage in New Rochelle. Enjoy a curated selection of sweets inspired by the period such as seed cake, cider cake and molasses-gingerbread cookies accompanied by a short history on Revolutionary era sweets - and of course tea. Following the tea service, the experience will conclude with a brief tour and history overview of the early 19th century schoolhouse based on the property.
Limiting seating available, early registration is recommended. A portion of the proceeds goes to the Huguenot & New Rochelle Historical Association.
