Experiences of Black Soldiers

Details

Eric Chandler, a Historian and Lecturer, explores the experiences of Black soldiers, on both sides, during the Revolutionary War.

The site of the lecture, St. Paul's Church National Historic Site is one of New York's oldest parishes, dating from 1665. It was used as a hospital following the important Revolutionary War Battle at Pell's Point in 1776, and was the scene of various military developments.
