Mt. Kisco Smokehouse

If you’re a fan of Russ and Daughters or Zabars, you must visit this hidden gem that touts the best smoked salmon in the world. Customers agree – the freshly smoked nova, sable and sturgeon at this family-owned shop are the best you’ll ever taste. Bring a cooler in your car so you can stock up.

Ward Pound Ridge Reservation

The largest park in Westchester is a fitting way to end the day. Take a quick stroll through this magnificent landscape - and marvel at the brilliant colors. Then, stake out a picnic table along Reservation Road to enjoy the delicacies you’ve picked up along your journey. Park closes at dusk. The entrance to the park is off New York State Route 121 at the bridge over the Cross River about 100 yards south of New York Route 35.
