A 33-acre woodland preserve with trails, a pond, gardens, a playground and outdoor animal exhibits, including a birds of prey aviary. Iindoor exhibits include a live-animal museum with over 100 specimens, exhibit areas focusing on nature and the environment, a greenhouse with botanical exhibits, and a gift shop. Programs are offered for groups of all ages on a wide range of environmental topics, camps, adult programs, community events and birthday parties, either here or at your location.
A wide range of volunteering opportunities exist for all ages and skill levels. Parking is free, and handicapped parking is available. Grounds are open daily, dawn to dusk throughout the year. Indoor exhibits are open daily except Fridays and a few holidays, 9:30 a.m.- 4:30 p.m. on weekdays and 10 a.m.- 4:30 p.m. on weekends

City-owned, 47-acre wildlife preserve with ponds, streams and hiking trails. Environmental education programs and activities. Open yearround. Monday - Friday 9 a.m. - 5 p.m., Saturday 10 a.m. - 4 p.m.

Teatown manages a 1,000 acre preserve with 15 miles of hiking trails and offers environmental education programs to more than 20,000 children and adults each year. The Nature Center and nearby Raptor Loop Trail have birds of prey and animal displays, programs and events. Open Sunday-Saturday, 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. Hiking trails open daily dawn to dusk.
