10 for 10 - Westchester hotels respond to COVID-19
The Westchester Hotel Association, in partnership with Westchester Tourism & Film, is asking our hotels to join "10 for 10," a program in support of healthcare and emergency workers who are serving in the front lines of the COVID-19 pandemic here.
Each participating property agrees to:
- Donate at least 10 rooms for 10 nights to be used by Westchester County healthcare workers fighting COVID-19. Each hotel will partner with a hospital or medical facility, which will designate eligible staff and provide names to the partner hotel.
- If your hotel is unable to donate rooms, you may participate by providing these rooms at cost.
- Offer a special, discounted "In-county COVID-19 rate" (between $89 and $99 per night, with proof of residence and employment) for any Westchester County healthcare worker who needs an alternative place to stay during the pandemic.
- Offer a special, discounted "COVID-19 response rate" (between $119 and $139 per night) for any other group or transient bookings for medical or emergency response personnel coming from outside Westchester to assist.
Offers valid through May 15, 2020.
