Great Point Studios Yonkers Wells Avenue

Westchester County is renowned for its diverse locations that have captivated audiences on screen for decades. While our iconic landscapes are a primary draw for filmmakers, television producers, and commercial creators, our robust production infrastructure is equally impressive.

The county boasts numerous sound stages and studios, including several New York State Qualified Production Facilities (QPFs). These top-tier studios are suited for projects of any scale and are conveniently located within the NYC film zone, allowing for seamless transitions between on-location filming and controlled studio environments.

“Westchester’s studios are renowned for their versatility and personalized service, says Nicole Zeller, co-owner of Mount Vernon-based Haven Studios NY. “We cater to all types of productions, from large-scale shoots to indie films. That means our studios can adapt to an individual production’s needs and bring creative visions to life.”

With high-tech equipment rivaling New York City studios and locations that are easy to get to, studios in Westchester host and produce projects including television series, feature films, music videos, commercials and trailers.

“This year we’ve had Brendan Fraser here filming a trailer for his upcoming film, produced a video for C+C Music Factory, and hosted a healthcare commercial production, among other projects,” notes Robert DePalma, creative director of Azure Stages.

Here’s a look at some of the County’s production studios that strengthen our film ecosystem and help make Westchester a destination for filmmakers:
