Details
ICS opened to the public in March of 2022 with a group exhibition featuring 24 artists from around the country and provided an accompanying series of artist panels, school workshops, and a live performance event. Since opening, the space has continued to provide exhibition space for contemporary projects, often involving installation and large sculptural work. The gallery retains its industrial characteristic as an active making-space, while being flooded by natural light via wall-to-wall windows. The studio program at ICS provides professional support and community to a curated group of long-term studio artists. Artist membership for the shared workspace is also available, which has a growing collection of equipment, including a ceramic kiln.
