Family-owned, The Meadows Farm began as 4 acres in 1958 and has grown to 100 acres, including 20 acres that are farmed using organic practices. Vegetables are grown and harvested daily—sometimes twice daily—on the farm and then sold at the neighboring roadside farm stand. With the goal of providing the best and freshest quality produce directly to the customer, Meadows opens in May selling flowers and vegetables, started in the greenhouses for plantings, and then farm-grown vegetables during spring, summer and fall. Highlights include the sweet corn and tomatoes beginning in July. Farm Stand opens May 1 selling their well-known packs of annual seedlings. Summer boasts super sweet organic corn and swing by in the fall for a large selection of mums.
