LGBTQ+-Friendly Events and Resources

Celebrate June Pride:

  • Rye Town Park kicks off Pride Month on May 31 at Rye Town Park with the 5th Annual Pride Month Celebration. The day will be filled with art, music, activities, a parade, and an after-party on the beach.

  • Westchester Pride Hosted by The LOFT is a free, family-friendly event taking place June 1 in downtown White Plains. Brimming with joy, empowerment, and connection, the celebration includes performances, activities, and resources for all ages. 

  • Investigate the science of rainbows through many mediums on June 7 and 8 during Pride Weekend at Westchester Children's Museum.  

  • New Rochelle's Pride Festival returns on June 7 with entertainment, games and plenty of delicious bites. 

  • Spend an evening out on June 13 at Friday Night Pride in the Village of Hastings-on-Hudson. The festivities begin at The Good Witch Coffee Bar with banner making and a reading by children's author, Kyle Lukoff. Then, march to the center of town led by Funkrust Brass Band where you'll find food, entertainment, games and activities for the whole family. 

  • Join the fun at Yonkers Pride Festival on Saturday, June 14 for a powerful celebration of love, identity and inclusivity. With live music, local food vendors, drag performances, and family-friendly activities, it’s a joyful, community-centered day that transforms the Yonkers Downtown Waterfront into a vibrant display of pride and unity.
     
  • Peekskill's 5th Annual Family Pride in the Park on June 28 at Pugsley Park includes special visits with rainbow goats, music, performances, drag queen story time, vendors and more. 
     
  • Challenge yourself to rock climbing at Movement's Queer Climbing Nights. Taking place the first Monday of every month for guests over 18 and the third Monday of every month for all ages. Climbers of all levels are welcome to train and connect in this supportive environment.
