Thomas Paine Cottage Museum

Former home of Thomas Paine whose pamphlet, Common Sense, helped spark the American Revolution. Now headquarters of the Huguenot and New Rochelle Historical Association, the museum exhibits artifacts and furniture from the 18th century to present day, the history of the Huguenots and the City of New Rochelle. Nineteenth-century Sophia Brewster one-room schoolhouse on grounds. "We're not just Revolutionary, We're NY History Strong."
