Westchester County Tourism & Film

Details

Westchester is home to a great variety of backdrops and welcoming communities, talented crews, essential equipment, state-of-the-art sound stages, and a seasoned film office staff — it's all here.

Just minutes north of New York City, our film-friendly county offers bustling cities, suburban and upscale neighborhoods, quaint country villages, all-American main streets and artsy river towns. The county is also known for its abundant natural beauty: beautiful parks, rolling meadows, beaches, working farms and forested areas with camping facilities. The majestic Hudson River borders the county on one side, and Long Island Sound, with its picturesque harbors, on the other.

For period productions, we also feature unique historical sites—including an 1838 gothic revival mansion, a 1920's art deco amusement park, and one of the oldest theaters in the nation. Check out our film-friendly hotels, corporate sites, colleges, courthouses, train stations, jail and airport, too.
